Those are problems with your computer setup not the game itself, as the random error occurrences imply.
You might want to try to reinstall the XNA and .Net framework and download a complete fresh version of the game.
He deleted the old thread which was empty so its kinda ok. Just remember that you are able to edit the thread's title. Also, this might get fixed later, but won't be fixed on your save file. Are you playing your GameJolt account?

Should be fixed. I think this happens when someone sends in a Pokémon with written mail. I fixed that for the next version.
