Duplicate [0.46] Game crashes right before victory road entrance

flyBEET

Starting Trainer
Whenever I approach the gate before victory road (the yellow building with the security guards), the game always crashes, saying that "StartIndex cannot be less than 0", or something like that. There is nothing I can do to bypass this. Whenever I get too close to the door, the game simply crashes. I think it has something to do with the trainer in front of the entrance, because the game crashes whenever I get in her field of vision or I talk to her. Sadly, there is no way to bypass this trainer. This is an online GameJolt save, so I could not have messed with the files in any way, and I have no mods installed. Please help as quickly as possible. Here is the crash report:

Actually, please ignore this post. I figured out a way to bypass the trainer by simply flying to Victory Road, landing me right in front of the door. Nevertheless, this is still a bug in the game that needs to be fixed, as whenever I try to challenge the trainer, the game still crashes.

This might be a duplicate of the trainer crashes other users are experiencing.
We'll wait and see.
Because in the other crash reports it was line 29 or 12? causing the crash, in this one it's the first line, which could be the pathing of the npc being broken or something.

Honestly, this doesn't bother me as much as the bug I am experiencing now (which I mentioned in another thread), where every time I attempt to leave victory road, Silver approaches. Right before the battle, the game crashes. Here is the log for that:
