Mod (Old) 1YL's BIGGEST Update to come!

yep, thats basically Mod Loading in p3d. content packs are a different system and must be set before you start the game in your options.dat (this may be built into the launcher but someone is making a mod installer that could do that for you ) but the 'mods' people make are just new content and data, so it only needs to load if the character belongs to the mod. it'll activate the mod when you load into a character from the mod or start a new game. nice and easy

Wait, so does this exist now? If so it would really help unclutter my desktop. ^^;

it doesnt at the moment. its still work in progress. once that system is out. you can start downloading updates for Official Poke3D with out affecting the Mods themselves. it'll be up when Draco is completed that project.

I can't wait! Right now my desktop is an amalgamation of mod folders and various files I have been experimenting with, so this will definately help. XD

On a slightly different note, I had a little request in this mod. If it is not too much of a problem, would you consider putting Riolu into the world a little earlier than other games? It is possibly one of the most interesting to raise, but usually by the time it is introduced into a game the only things left are metagaming. I always hack him into my ds games because the most boring thing in the world is to EV train a Lucario only to realize that there is nothing else to do with him but face other EV trained pokemon.

you can do that yourself. Rilou is already in Poke3D

all you have to do it go to your Save Sata and look at Party. when your there, edit one that looks like this:

all you have to change is whats highlighted in blue. change that to the Rilou's National Pokedex Number and there you have him. go to the community Thread for more information

but first you have to download the Pack from Dark Fires thread about it. or download my Mod which has all of the pokemon from gen 1-4

I know ho to do that, I was just thinking it would be kind of cool in this game since the idea is that pokemon are migrating into Johto, that's all. Or was that a different mod? Anyways I already have him. It would just be cool if I did not have to cheat to get him.

oh? so then you'll be inputing the Unova Overworlds? i was already on that. but if your done with it then its finbe. i can stop my Unova Progression

haha alright, i'v already done 20 so i'll be done in the next 2~3 days. Which assume it would take that long because my birthday is in 3 days. so after that. i'll have like 2 days off after my b-day? dunno.

Just realized that Riolu's entire moveset is going to be tackle and quick attack for a long time. lol

you can edit his moves now using via Poke3D Wiki.
it'll tell youe the ID for each Move and you can give Riolu his moves. which not ALL are available but a good variety of them.

I checked. All of his moves at least through level twelve are tackle and quick attack. I inputted all of the ones he should have, like endure and foresight. I can be patient though, I'll just wait for the update on the overall movelist. I do appreciate your offer though.
