John thats just a thin block that spins. all 'models' in this game aren't actually files with a bunch of stuff about the mesh and uv mappings etc. all he's done is define certain shapes in the code as a bunch of 3d triangles for the primatives he draws the textures on so he can have slope blocks and the ladders etc.

the little box is just a bounding box, every entity has a bounding box, and when my editor clicks it deprojects the mouse position to world space and draws a big line starting from the camera, going through the point in world space my mouse is, and i check for bounding boxes that intersect with that line and pick the closest and make it the selected entity which makes their box draw in red

edit 1:eek:nce things slow down and such I'll work on it.
Edit 2:Wait is splint working on the pokemons animation?

he seems to have done gens 2-5, pppprreee is doing gen 1, he got up to 86 then logged out. if you wanna do some maybe do ones from 100-151? or 87, whatever you feel like doing. no need to apologise, anything you do helps.

Roger that the sooner we get this stuff done the sooner we can work on maps and other side projects.

nilllzz has a data driven pokemon system cooking atm. it wont all be done by next week (moves and animations are complex) but there's a good chance that next tuesday is the 'pokemon 3d: now with pokemon' patch
