Dat. I like it.

Also, you guys are so awesome at map making :D
I would totally take this map into the next official release if you are OK with that.
I also corrected some textures (the walls looked a little blurry) and inserted the items.

If you want to make maps for the official release versions, you can have a debug version of the game, where you can walk through walls and change camera angles and stuff.

Thanks. This is the original,

There is a gap in the walls then tower innards all over the joint, so I wanted players to see that from the perspective we play from.

The walls were just me stretching a 1 tile texture over 2 tiles to have tall walls, so good thing you changed that. I hope the rest of the tiles were up to scratch.

Anyway, I've made this because I figure you're a busy guy, so now you don't have to :) You are free to use it however you see fit, as with anything else I post here.

I'm working on some sprite sheets for NPCs the game will need later, if they can be included as well when I post them later that would be nice. With a few of us helping out hopefully you can have a bunch of content in by the time the game is fully playable. I'm going to stick to dungeon/gym style maps until the editor is in, mind you. How is that progressing by the way? Even if there is just a map viewer in next build that would probably speed things up a lot. :)

The map maker already supports map viewing.
Things that doesn't work for viewing atm: NPCs, Items and Apricocoplants (it shows default texture)
But I think those are things that you can script into the level file later on.

That great and yea we can. We pretty much got those down already.
Edit: have you got the trainer script yet? that the one thing we seem to be lacking.

Those are the easiest because you can just walk around your map with debug info up and stand on the spots you want and note the coords. Visualizing a load of wall blocks in 3d space is what takes forever for me. If you can include whatever you have working in next build that would be awesome.

How are you implementing them, by the way? How much control does a mapper have over trainer battles?

I'm going to bed soon so I won't be making more sprites until I get home tomorrow. I am planning to look at screenshots of every gym and identify the missing NPC sprites we'll need and do up sheets for them the game can use. Saruish post here if you do any of those while I'm offline so I know where to start. That was the first 2 gyms by the way.
