I have been having difficulties getting the shader to work right
in the image you can see the shader running along the side of the area
I cannot seem to get the shader to align under the bridge
every time I delete the code for the shader it comes back
what is making it and how do I either stop it or move it to under the bridge?

I have been using the editor as a view screen for what I'm editing as Its water routes so I can't go on it yet :/
I have noticed it is starting to appear on every map that I edit along the top edge(R32 and Cherrygrove so far)

If you are editing using the .dat file then I cannot help :(
But if you are using Pokeditor then you just need to get the proper dimensions of the bridge, find which was it travels (x or z) and then start at the (respective) top-right corner of the bridge, then place you size dimension the same as the bridge and it should do the work for you. If you are confused, upload the .dat so i can have a looksie.

maybe that is the case?
hopefully you can come up with a solution.
Yeah, using pokeditor gets difficult sometimes with the directions. I sometimes mess up and send something 20 in the z direction and 5 in the x when it is suppose to be the other way around.

Yeah, don't forget to check the Hoenn thread if you haven't yet. I got some problems with the textures of houses and wanted to know what you wanted to do.
@Options:A,B,C
:when:A
@Text: You can somehow create a new house texture that works, I do not recommend this one.
:endwhen
:when:B
@Text: We can instead use the textures from johto, but you'll still have to make a few tiles we need.
:endwhen
:when:C
@Text: We can keep everything Hoenn that we can, but I'll still need the tiles referenced in Option B

I can pick option A.
give me a Johto Texture. and i'll crop the Hoenn version so it can be Hoenn but still have the Johto Measurements.
give it to me in a link and i can make a quick work.

That isnt the issue. The houses in Hoenn were made like 2.5d already, so option A involves you CREATING the third dimension and the sides and roofs of the Hoenn houses.

What are u guys having trouble with? Map textures aren't limited to a specific dimension.

The max dimension u can save the file as is 2048 x 2048 and from inside the map u can specify exactly what part to use for your textures.

The only difficulty you will have is trying to create a somewhat decent texture from 2d tiles for a 3d object.

by creating a 3rd dimension in pokeditor is no good for me. so perhaps we canstick with Option C.

however i wont be able to do anything today. hopefully i can get some work done when i come back home.
so for now, do what you can with the Johto Textures. and i'll see what i can do from there.

Alright. I'll see if I can move tiles around.
