Ah yes Thank you Draco and good to hear. Yes you more or less nailed it right on the head. Sorry if at any point I wasn't clear enough to any of you. I suppose in theory Move tutors, name raters , "And all that jazz" would be a huge help ( Hopeful that the re use of TM's might be phased back in to help play a role in that ) But if it's going to be "An actual game" I still stick by my main points in prior posts that the GB/DS/Nintendo official versions still have ways to be exploited. so in fairness & in sticking with being a remake as described on Indiedb hopefully you decide to continue to allow us "exploit this stuff" when that "long way off" time does come.yes, but that isn't what she is afterI would think that overlapping texture packs and mods is possible depending which textures the mods were using
I believe the new way that they are being designed is that if you have a texture that you made you can designate what pixels replace trees, ground, ledges, water, etc. so if a mod uses different textures then a content pack would need to be compatible with that mod but downloading a texture that is incompatible would not mess up the game necessarily(did i explain it right draco?)
she's worried about save editing, which isnt really modding at all.
we're happy to let everyone exploit this stuff for a while but by the time we release this has to be an actual game. there should be move tutors, nickname raters and all that jazz later on. basically, don't worry about saves being changed, this is a long way off.
