Damnit, when in window mode, the fps litteraly jumps to sixty, stays there for a few seconds and then jumps down again and repeats that. I can see the difference in the game speed during battles now, this is ridicolous:/
our game worlds made out of individual blocks and tiles etc, so big maps may be Too Much. there's ways we can fix that, none of them have a chance of being out in next patch hehe. sometimes things just dont scale up as well as you think they will and its back to the drawing board :( the pokedex screen that does this for instance
was written when nilllzz had 20 pokemon and no one had thought to try this until a few days ago. oh shiiiiiiiit

I used to be able to run two or three of the game at the same time with out dropping average fps below 50
now it averages around 30 all the time, settings in the game don't change it(unless I use razor game booster where I can turn all the settings up to max and still get 60 fps)

incidentally, we're putting more strain on the game. not only are we adding features, but y'all aren't in route 29 anymore. some of these maps are pretty big. the route 34 i made was big enough it was hard to take a screenshot of it all at once. maybe we just gotta rethink how we're doing maps. i wont really say more but there you go. you have our attention at least :p

well good night. its 3 am here :(

a texture decompresses when it is loaded into memory, the issue with the memory usage is the content manager caches it all and if you dont flush it sometimes it will stop working. add about 5-10 meg for 200 pokemon and you got a gig or 2 lol
