HUGE project, I'm in need of alot of help.

Pokémon Ranger
Ok, basicly, I never did like most of the pokemon overworld sprites, so what I wanted to do, is change all of the overworld sprites into the pokemon mystery dungeon sprites then turn it into a contentpack for people to use, but there's one problem: There are a lot of pokemon skins, around 700 files, now, this huge project can be less time consuming if you guys could help me out, I am willing to do the work as well. The more people help me out, the quicker we can turn it into a content pack, all I need are people who are experienced in making the skin files, also make sure the background is transparented, otherwise the pokemon will just be running around with a white box, lol.

Question for you guys, is there a program that'll let me see the animation of the file without me having to go into the game to make sure it animations correctly? When I say animation, I don't mean a gif animation, I meant like.. the game follows the files box grid.. thing.

I've finished Chikorita and Bayleaf and now my arms aching from the constant sprite editing/moving and rapidly going in and out of the game just to see if its animated correctly or not, then go back to the file to edit/move

The closest thing I know may be the GraphicsGale gif preview, even then, it's not what you're looking for, and the gif previewer is paid too.
You'd need for a special program to check the exact animation of the Pokémon directly from the sheet. If I had free time, I'd help you....
If it was worth it, I would have done it before, as I've been wanting to change those graphics for a while. Consider the following:
-There's no Gen V/VI sprites, except for the fan-made ones, which are unreliable, mostly bad or not even done.
-You'll need to have some freaking lots of time, but once completed it would be all...easier.
-You'll need to make shiny recolors, this might get you a bit mad.
-The sprites may end up not fitting the others very well...
-Darkfire tried, he gave up: boredom.
I don't want to stop you, just to warn you: It's not worth it...Unless you have an army of slaves working for you, and I think that's illegal.

-No gen V/VI? Good, less work and faster completion
-I've got a lot of time
-I'm not gonna bother with the shiney pokemon, they're too rare, but they're not worth trying to get since being a different color, doesn't make the pokemon stronger.
-other.. what, you mean sprite-style? understandable.
-I can understand why he gave up since it is a lot of work
-It may not be worth it, but it'll give me something to do.

If you want to, I can write you a quick animation preview program.

Btw, if the program doesn't start with files in the Sprites folder, be sure to uncheck this:

I handed it out to a few people in the chat two hours ago and fixed a major bug five min later

Cool idea, because I had same idea in my head.
BTW I have couple sprites from old gaming times, but it's need some editing to make them useful:
Pidgey Family and Abra Family. I hope they will be useful.:)
