Not a bug [0.49.1] Game Crash After First Rival Battle in Silver's Soul Gamemode

After I had defeated Silver in the first rival battle, and the experience points were distributed, The game crashed, never changing songs from the victory theme, but after showing the overworld.

What I expected to happen:

Rival Text script to appear, and continue on as usual.

What actually happened:
Crash. Repeated this process many times to see if it was avoidable.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run Mr. Pokémon errand
2. Meet Rival in Cherrygrove City
3. Defeat Rival
4. Crash

Also, not sure if this same thing occurs in normal gamemode, as I have not played a normal starting storyline since several updates ago. Should this be posted anywhere on the Silver's Soul resource page?

a) gamemode related bugs should be posted in the related thread
b) I have stopped working on Silver's Soul to prioritize development on the main game as well as RL stuff so I wont be fixing it
