The elevator could be its own map containing exits on different levels, if that is possible.it will be! but it'll invole moving the Entire map to point a to point b or c. but its mostly in the script files. but we'll see how it goes from there~

we cant make the elvator move, yet. nor can we make the stuff outside the window the elevator would have move. we can't change warp block targets with script either. nilllzz will implement something to make it work, i'm sure. if not, i'll do it. i have ideas for moving entities at runtimeThe elevator could be its own map containing exits on different levels, if that is possible.
oh yeah, we could warp the player through a bunch of copies of the room in the same map, based on the script on the elevator attendant. could workElevator could be 1 map with cloned rooms each their own warp out block to each separate floor.
In the elevator room a script block at the button with a options menu depending on which option is chosen u get warped to one of the cloned rooms and a delay of a couple of seconds then add a text "Arrived at floor" well u get the point.
All the player has to do is then walk out the door
Later on when the sounds can be customized u can add in a elevator sound and trigger it trough the button script.
yeahWell I'm stuck.
I got some time to work on this again, so I tried to make the radio tower but I can't get it to look right.
it would help if I could rotate blocks by 0.5
maybe, but its quite simple to rotate them at any angle on all 3 axis, because that is how XNA and the engine store rotation. the map data can only give it 1 of 4 cardinal directions by design, it's something nilllzz will have to OK first, but if you can manipulate rotation with a vector you can do anythingWell either that or maybe one of those slanted (stair?) blocks on its side. I could probably make it a little nicer with one of those.
oh god dont use that wall i made a better one out of a screenshot of hg/ss goldenrod gym. its actually 4 textures so those walls gotta become individual blocks (just change one and it'll upgroup them)DracoHouston
Being able to do something like that would be really helpful
also I got the regular house rooms, gym, and poke center all hooked up and done. They just need NPCs which I'm not sure how to work with.
I'm working on the bike shop and the Goldenrod dept store right now.
