I guess we're following Generation IV holding mechanics right now (8% chance of holding Nugget). If we were to follow the latest generation, then they'd have a 50% chance of holding a Black Sludge. Is there a reason why Muk can't be found holding Black Sludge?
i know it's implemented since Koga has it on his Muk.
Ahh i see, ok so, how do we get that item in this game?I guess we're following Generation IV holding mechanics right now (8% chance of holding Nugget). If we were to follow the latest generation, then they'd have a 50% chance of holding a Black Sludge.
In that instance, I guess the devs are kind of doing what they feel makes the most sense? I'm probably as confused as you are.Ahh i see, ok so, how do we get that item in this game?
Also, Pikachu has a 1% chance of finding it holding a Light ball and this does not follow any game.
another example is clefairy which has a chance of 1% to be holding a comet shard and 5% moon stone and 50% leppa berry which follows B/W mechanics.
Yea, i was just checking the data files since the wiki is a bit outdated, and i was confused by some of the numbers in these files.being confused is good
We havent done an amazing job with managing pokemon data atm so some stuff is all over......
We will work on fixing everything up at a later date
Well......Yea, i was just checking the data files since the wiki is a bit outdated, and i was confused by some of the numbers in these files.
So, i assume any problems similar to these shouldn't be reported, correct?
discrepancies between? i mean, What gen should the game use the mechanics of? Because i have seen a lot of these discrepancies, Such as in the : move sets/ held items /egg moves ....etcWell......
depends on the urgency of it......
and maybe compile a list of discrepancies in anything not related to TMs(those are being worked on so anything there will be changed eventually....)
most things are gen 5(though we probably will update it eventually)discrepancies between? i mean, What gen should the game use the mechanics of? Because i have seen a lot of these discrepancies, Such as in the : move sets/ held items /egg moves ....etc
Edit: i have been told before that some mechanics follow a specific gen while others follow different gens
Thanks a lothere's the list via the source unless some new stuff gets added in the next day or so this should be the list as of next version
