I think that I have finaly decided that i want to buy me an 3ds because of Pokemon Now I just have to sell my DsI

Yeah me too , im definetly getting the 3DS now for this game , Nintendo 3Ds will finally have big sales for releasing this game

i bought a 2nd hand ds lite from EB to play soulsilver and its wifi has broken for no reason whatsoever and soulsilver won't play (yes, it really tries to access wifi in the main menu, it's not the game, its my DS) so now i got 2 reasons to get a 3ds haha

maybe i can trade this thing in for Store Credit. i kinda wish i could buy the 3ds somewhere else though out of spite (this is the 2nd 2nd hand nds, the other one lasted 1 day, this one lasted 6 weeks)

To be honest Gen 6 struck me real hard. I don't have anything against it - It's actually really interesting! However, the people in my surroundings are the biggest fans of Gen 3, so I believed that a Gen 3 remake after BW2 would bring up a lot of attention.

Well, while unfortunate in a way, I'm actually looking forward to this game. I don't own a 3DS yet, but hopefully I'll be able to get both the console and the games when it gets released.

The designs bother me a bit, but I'm not going to complain. I did the exact thing when Gen 5 news first came out, so it's only a matter of time before I shut up about it.

I don't have a 3DS either and I am going to wait until after X and Y come out to get one. Hopefully the price will drop on it or there will be some sort of bundle after X and Y are released.

I Don't wanna sound too pessimistic but I'd buy the 3DS Sooner VS later as I anticipate prices hikes if buying used 3DS's or the prices staying fairly locked as is new and perhaps a potential influx in sales between now and their release possibly having an effect on prices as well as finding them in stock depending on where you go this could especially prove more crucial in the Month leading up to the release and possibly thru to Jan 2014 what with the release being a Mere 2 Months or less before the holiday shopping season depending on the Actual releases date/dates in October ( I anticipate between Mid and Late October )

I like how X and Y look in the trailer and everything and I will probably choose Chespin as my starter because its looks nice and different from other Grass types starters ive seen before, and on another note why does everyone like Fennekin so much?? its just Zorua but now Fire type :/

But seriously even if its slightly true Fennekin is cuter & seemingly better than Zorua plus there is the fact that Fennekin is most likely a new starter thus ultimately far easier to obtain than Zorua. Further can actually be said once we know more though

Lol you could try reselling that DSi on Ebay or Amazon then turn around and buy the aforementioned used 3DS on Amazon or Ebay. I prefer Ebay which is where I got mine from. Currently there seem to be some decent options and prices ranging from $104 ( USD ) to $120 used or $130 plus New or like New . I got a steal on mine Like New for $107 + the shipping which I went all out and payed Express Shipping costs for >.<

I Agree. Just got my 3DS Too ( Will be getting a 2nd one most likely after X And Y are released as I'll need to save up for a few things such as A Compatible Action Replay once released, My order of X And Y which I pre-ordered on Amazon, The 2nd 3DS, Possibly a game guide and accessories or DLC that may prove useful )

I also will probably get Pokemon X, should be the one with the blue legendary.

what i really want to know is if this is still going to be square movement like in previous games or if it will be free like in colisseum, final fantasy, etc. i couldn't tel from what i saw atleast

So far 1 drawback from trailers seems to be it still is Grid/ "Square" based movement. I fear this is likely due to a larger focus in a large number of other aspects of the game ( The work involved in the overall 3D Aspects especially an expected cast of 660-800 Plus Pokemon all expected to be in 3D Rendering, Plus all the details of the new region, plus possible trainer customization and numerous other aspects )

I do however expect that "Free Movement" will be ironed out in Pokemon Z ( If & When that is made ) or perhaps in any 3DS Versions that may follow such as whatever remake they might due in the future that gets a leap onto the 3DS Platform

Any guesses on where the new region is based on?

Bulbapedia says it is likely France.
I think it's going to be another America region.

It ma be odd but I'm thinking since Pokemon regions are based in part on real world places but with fictional twists of course that new region may feature a fusion of things.

So far possible ideas & theories Ive come across for this include:

Paris/France and or Europe ( Obvious from the look of some things in the trailer )
Germany ( Theorized by some fans & the pointing out of some some structures briefly in the trailer )

Some desert like area/Region (A Possible Idea based on some Vaguely indescribable background in a brief trailer scene )

Who knows but it would be a neat Idea & heck rather its the game or Anime Many cultures/regions from real life have been represented or touched on even if only briefly

Eh honestly we could survive without "Free movement" or "Diagonal Movement" even as honest there wouldn't be much point for it to me save maybe trying to avoid Trainer battles ( Eye contact or whatnot )

True... I didn't think of that. I imagine cooperative will be implemented in some way though.

A little off the subject but I found this a little bit ago and I think someone is suggesting that Pokemon 3D is not cool, poor guy must have never played before... and that does not look like the Eiffel Tower. It has the wrong shape at the top.

Or perhaps the person that made that is a semi retarded midget that meant to say Pokemon 3D It was cool first before Nintendo made the Announcement lol .... At least most of us still loves Pokemon 3D
