Seriously why don't they make a pokemon for android/ios? Carrying around a fat 3ds as a teenager makes me look childish. Plus it would be a lot easier to play on the go if it was on my android.

Whilst that is an opinion as a whole I'd say thats NOT TRUE in the past 2-3 years at least where I live I seen a vast increase in the number of Teens & Adults out in public with some form of DS, 3DS or other handheld. Hell I even saw 2 Elderly people at work in January with a DSi and 3DS XL Respectively

True i guess but the DS games can still be hacked. Anyway this season isn't looking so hot to me. The starters look really lame and instead of solidifying the games they already have they just decided to make some new pokemon and make it 3D instead. They could have tried to do some new ideas like making it into an MMO or use some of the ideas we were suggesting like picking any starter you want. Well i hope they have at least added a ghost-steel type that i've always wanted to see.

True but in theory most Any game or anything for that matter can eventually be hacked by some means its Just hacking on a game that largely is played by ones self ( Save Trading & WiFI & whatnot ) is far more prefferable to hacking that would occur on an MMO , Or the worst types of hacking that are cyber crimes.

Anyway whilst an MMO Would be nice it would likely be too much hassle for Nintendo to do plus if there's one thing some MMO's have taught us their life cycles & profitability can be too uncertain


Anyway it's not like we didn't know New Pokemon & A move towards 3D Had to come sooner or later hell just look at the marvels they did with B/W/B2/W2 and now nillz & the awesome people who are working on this our beloved Pokemon 3D which hell they may have though of first and frankly some of their ideas blow Nintendo out of the water and to Kingdom Come ( Which they will likely add into a Pokemon game if they ever get to their senses lol )

Not that it means much, but I think that water type did use an ice type move in the video and I actually don't think Nintendo would want you to start with a Pokemon that can defeat your rival's Pokemon with super effective attacks. I think that I agree with you that all of these Pokemon are going to just have a single type. I don't think the fire type is going to gain a second type and the grass type doesn't look like it would be compatible with another type either.

Its not like water types have not been able to use Ice Type moves before without actually having Ice Typing.

As for Single VS Dual Typing I think it is STILL FAR EARLY To tell but I would have to say in the case of Chespin & Fennekin I'd hope for dual Typing. And heck Types could be picked up after evolving.

I wouldn't mind seeing Fennekin as say Fire/Psychic as suggested or heck lets start thinking outside the box a little maybe evolve into a Fire/Steel or something as seemingly incompatible typings are woefully too rare or hell maybe some new Typings like Light which has been suggested since we've had Dark for a while ( Do I hear Fire/Light )

I would have to disagree on Chespin and go with fans Chespin could be any of following possibly ( Even if it comes post evolution ) Grass/Ground , Grass/Rock , Grass/Steel ( though unlikely ), Grass/Fighting who knows though

Aww poor Delibird you lost your relevance after a certain point in the Anime... But I do agree some Pokemon need revamps/revisits and fer cying out load some Pokemon NEED Some Evolutionary love. Some have only 1 Or No evolution and for the love of Arceus where is the Other types Evvee has yet to evolve into. I have high hopes for X and Y I just pray I'm not overly disappointed.

Who else is hoping for trainer customization to make their player more unique, the Trailer hints it but still I need to hear it from there face lips to be sure.
