Pokemon that should be ridable (open to suggestions!)

Well, look at it this way, lets say you're riding a Pigeot, Pigeots can fly fast...but birds can't exactly walk very fast even on their own..you'd probably be better off walking.

True, but doduo is very fast. It is a bird, can also learn fly, I believe. Also, Scyther should be ridable. It's big enough to carry you, and very fast.

Doduo and Dodrio can run very fast because they were meant to run fast lol. It's why I added them to the list and why they were implemented. Scyther wasn't added, if you want it to be, come up with a good argument and speak to Dark about it.

Nidoking and Nidoqueen shouldn't be, simply because their ability poisons on contact. That would be very painful to sit on.

Could the original poster please highlight which Pokemon are already capable of learning Ride? I'm a bit confused xD

On Subject: If a Pokemon is able to learn Fly and isn't super small like Pidgey, I think it should be able to learn Ride. Thats just my 2-cents

I'm looking at it this way; most of the overworld sprites for the Flying Type Pokemon don't walk but instead fly or hover close to the ground. It seems like Pokemon like Pigeot don't use their legs much anyway like a normal bird. I was thinking that the Flying Type Pokemon could learn Ride and use it as a low ground way of flying.

Considering Pokemon past Generation 2 aren't even in the game yet I'm sure they will be added to the Pokemon that can learn ride when they're added.
