Yep, this happened to me too. I always save when I get to a new area, just in case I crash.

Fisherman on route 42 will give waterstone, does anyone know who gives leaf stone?? or sun or moon

You'll want to add Picnicker Gina from route 34. As she is who gave it out in the original game. And if you're stressed for more Thunder Stones I'd suggest adding Lass Dana from route 38. I got one from her yesterday. Seeing as the juggler can give items, but she is limited to Thunder Stones only.

Wow, you guys are great. From what I've gathered from your posts, here is the list so far:

Evolution Stones Location:
Fire Stone - Schoolkid Alan @ route 36
Water Stone - Fisherman Chris @ route 42
Thunderstone - Lass Dana @ route 38
Leaf Stone - Picnicker Gina @ route 34
Moon Stone - none so far

is there any way to get phone calls to happen or is it just luck cause i have yet to get a call from anyone except irwin once...

Hehe, I'm not sure, you might just be unlucky. I get a lot of calls when I just walk around though, so perhaps just walk around and train your pokemon as usual and you'll get a call when you least expect it.

I see what you mean. x) I've also gotten lots of calls, and a lot from that juggler too, but only one stone so far.
