it's not boring, you get to start a new game but with either a very hard challenge or basically god mode.hmmmmThe legendary classes and up are 'Unlocked' and are separate playthroughs (if you see their conditions you'll notice that you'll have to start a new game to play as it) having multiple saves is great for this and because these classes are usually type-restricted or such a unique style of gameplay, once you run a playthrough and unlock a new class, the idea is that you can just overwrite the old legendary class while keeping your main trainer class in another save
but this will be a bit boring to start everything again aint it?
legendary classes must be just a fully evolved of a type
understood?
and i know what you are trying to do
but aint it will be better to do it like for example
a guy who have a trainer with a level one class can only battle level one and level two
level two can only battle levels one two and three
and legendary classes can only battle a class under it to other legendaries
the legendary and up classes provide a fun or difficult twist to how the game is played, and its such a radical change that it would lead to unfair advantages or disadvantages in fights with other players.
let's take the Leader class for example.
the Leader class is type restricted, so if its a Steel type leader class, all of it's pokemon will have Steel type, making the class easily defeated by fire and fighting types.
The Pikachu class is completely unfair because it's one pokemon, and if it faints it's game over
The Red class has a 50% chance to 1 Hit KO all pokemon, that's totally unfair
there's a reason they are kept separate
