I actually just did that now, it only shows your pokemons information, but I'm sure you can change the amount of EXP it has and the level number to make it a higher level pokemon and then save the file.
mha ha haEVOLUTION GUIDE FOR BEGINNERS!
for those of you that aren't too familiar with training or just starting, I'm going to introduce you to the world of training!
Training involves having your pokemon fight in order to get EXP and become stronger. I'll be listing the main ways people train their pokemon.
1. Wild Grinding - this training is by far the most common form of training and the best way to also capture new pokemon. Wild grinding is basically sifting through any grass and encountering wild pokemon. Defeating wild pokemon gives you small amounts of EXP, but over time this adds up.
Tips: The level of the pokemon in a certain area usually correspond with how far into the game it is. For example the first patches of grass you encounter will ALWAYS hold pokemon ranging lvl 2-6 whereas the wild pokemon close to the elite four will be 36-43
Pros: wild pokemon are unlimited and everywhere
Cons: don't yield as much EXP as trainer battles and takes more time
2. Trainer Battles - this is the second form of training and involves trainers. Fighting trainers allows you to get more EXP than you would from battling wild pokemon, and you get money as well.
Pros: More Exp, money
Cons: The amount of trainers is limited and the total EXP given out is not enough to support a 6 pokemon team. Rematches are hard to get if at all.
3. 1st in, 1st out - This type of training is for weaker pokemon or newer pokemon in your team without the use of an Exp. Share. The basic idea is that you place the pokemon you want to train in the first slot. Whenever there is a battle (preferably with a strong opponent) you switch out the pokemon with one of your stronger pokemon before the first turn. After defeating the pokemon. Your weak pokemon gets a small share of the Exp for winning. This type of training can be used for wild or trainer battles.
4. EXP SHARE - exp. share is an item you find in the game that shares EXP from battles to the pokemon holding the item. Unlike 1st in 1st out, the pokemon does not need to participate in order to gain EXP. On top of that, all EXP gained is EQUALLY shared with the pokemon holding the item and the Pokemon who fought.
and there's your 101 in training.
