Hardcode save data?Btw, when have you scheduled you going to hardcode the player data? Because up until that point, you can easily just remove & add the moves yourself.

Things wrong with this:Don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but you can simple delete or learn skills/attacks to your pokemon yourself. You'd just have to delete (ex.) 'attack4 - cut' from your pokemons attack list, and let it learn another one, by either looking up an attack or letting it level until it learns it out of itself.
You just won't be able to forget them to learn another move....So... Forgettable HMs, rejected?
As I said before this would require a whole entire new code that's never been done before, it would be tedious to differentiate between moves you could use and moves you couldn't use.okay so I think this would be really nice what if instead of an HM taking up one of the four slots you give each Pokemon like 4 extra slots for HMs but you could not use them in battle if you wanted to use them in battle you could put it in your main 4 moves just an idea to make this possible though I mean after all you don't want to copy the games
