Ah yeah, the Unova region is largely based on New York city where as the other regions were based on areas of Japan. The games aren't necessarily aimed at Americans, it's just Unova is meant to be far away from any of the other regions and America is an obvious choice if you want to take it away from Japan. Who knows, maybe we will see a region based on Britain or somewhere else in the future.

So i merged the overworld sprites that were obtained from veekun.com and came up with these

Some of the overworld sprites were 64 x 64 instead of the regular 32 x 32 so i adjusted for that however npc's dont support those sizes so they don't scale properly ingame.

im going to release a viewer only version of pokeditor you guys can use until the full things ready. it can load maps but all the things for editing and saving them are disabled in this build

you can make changes in your text editor and reload the map to see it close to what it'll look like in game with the ability to fly around. hold down right click to turn the camera, WASD to move, space to move up, shift to move down

i have a 3 dollar a month shared hosting VPN (so i dont get to go hog wild on cpu use but its a perfectly good file mirror) but it cost me more to get the domain name (12 bux a year) and i paid for google apps on the domain but its pretty neat having a server to use. thats the dracohouston.net thing i link from

oh drop box is a different thing, its a program you install that makes a drop box folder on your computer, things you but in there are mirrored to The Cloud. google, apple and i think ms all have similar services but dropbox works pretty well

by cpu usage i mean i cant run a lot of scripts on my server at once, and it wouldnt be able to host a busy forum or wiki. its useful for some other things im just saying its an option. dropboxing it is totally free

i see folders but not files. if theyre in the right places locally in your drop box just let it all sync lol its still gotta upload it to the cloud
