Well, The game will have more gimmicks in it for the Ledgendaries. For Example... Instead of Getting Deoxys from Birth Island, like the English Version. Who would rather Fly up to the moon and encounter him. Like the Japanese version? Some of the Ledgendaries, though will tie into the game's storyline with the antagonist. I don't know yet. I nervous about butchering the storyline. I don't want it to be disproportional.

This sounds cool I doubt the stories and rumors about going to the moon to get deoxys or even with the white rock, a key the & the launch pad. I like the idea of connecting it to space a bit more than in the games have so far this whole project shows great promise and the things I've read about what you have planned and also what others have said to help have been very cool can't wait to see this done with or with out unova or the new region.:D

Trainer Leagues: Battle Colosseum and a Pokemon Stadium.

[Edit: This post is going with the idea of both starting off in Kanto and as well as choosing where to start off. This is just an idea.

It would be great if there was a "Battle Colosseum" implemented while the regions are being made. I'm not sure if it's possible yet, but, using the idea of co-op battles, it would be awesome if players can battle other players who have an internet connection within a simple battle arena.

One, it doesn't make the game boring and pointless by having it as a solo one-way journey to the end of the regions. Two, it creates a more complete experience for people.

In an example, it's like playing poker on your computer. What's the point of it? Nothing pushes you to come back. However, playing poker online gives people something to look forward to because every game will be "different" and less monotone. So applying it with this project, having a Battle Colosseum will give players a chance to show off their pokemon and skills in battles, trades, and syncs. That alone with a higher avatar personalization, details, and even possibly our own home base or small island, will allow people to feel as if they've finally reach being a pokemon trainer.

Having a place where people can battle each other would also make the game more rewarding. The Pokemon level range of battles will determine on how far you have gotten in the game.
(Using the idea of one region at a time, example Johto's Battle Colosseum:)
For instance, Level A, would be players roughly on the range of 1-15 or 1-2 badges.
Level B, would be players roughly on the range of 15-22 or 2-3 badges.
Level C, would be players roughly on the range of 23-29 or 4-5 badges.
Level D, would be players roughly on the range of 30-36 or 6-7 badges.
Level E, would be players roughly on the range of 36-45 or 7-8 badges.
And the elite level, would be all players roughly on the range of 45-60 in preparation for the elite four.
This way, it will feel more like a challenge to some players.

Another view, is to take this idea, and expand it out to a holistic view. Such as: having just one, or several Battle Colosseums in the game and then limiting it to a player's comfort. If a player has his party pokemon in level 40-50, he can chose to enter a room with the same range, or chose, if he has higher pokemon, to go into a battle room where people have pokemon in 70+.

For an in-game bonus, for those who have a limit to battling with other players over the internet, the idea of battling trainers from all four regions can be added as a Player vs Computer in-game feature. People will be able to challenge Champions rather than having to face the elite four first one by one.
What do you guys think about that?

Having this feature will also allow people to experience the most out of the Pokemon Project since the idea is to "connect all regions", people thus won't have to be in Sinnoh to see Sinnoh pokemon trainers or be stuck in Hoen without fighting Kanto trainers. People will be able to battle with various gen pokemon in their teams, thus improving the pokemon experience.
It could even made so that a person will only be able to unlock the regions battle Colosseum if they have already completed their current region.
So, two options:
**Kanto Pokemon Trainer league--> Johto Pokemon Trainer League--> Hoen Pokemon Trainer Leagure--> Sinnoh Pokemon Trainer League.

**all while still being able to participate in the Pokemon Stadium, a place, like the Trainer Leagues, where people can battle each other regardless of regions ( if given the option to chose which region to start off).

Both of these options will have a ranking status(sort of like a billboard) on who has gotten more wins/ who is currently the champion in the__ region,
along with various details on people's, profiles, team pokemon, specialty, motto, attempts, loses, class, etc.
The place I have in mind for where the billboard will be is maybe, Maybe, in a large pokemon center at the foot the buildings.

Some things I didn't mention:
The Region's Battle Colosseum will not be able to give you exp. if a person is playing vs Computer or against an online player.
The Pokemon Stadium will give exp. because players will be battling other players in their own level rank and it's for the sakes of gaining a better win score in your id, so the matches will predictably be harder since people will want to win against each other. To limit the gain of exp., people can be limited to the number of losses/wins per day.

I hope, if this does get implemented someday, I hope it will at least make it as it's own building/tower/colosseum, instead of being a button feature on the mai
n menu.
What do you guys think?

The Pokemon World Championship will have something kinda like this, however i'm not sure how to hacker proof it so you don't have people with Level 100 Charizard that know Surf, Dive, Thunder, and Horn Drill... but it's defiantly an idea.

im interested in even helping. this will be with the pokemon 3D engine? awesome, count me in, I can help.
Thanks! As of now, the maps aren't even done, but once Kanto and Johto are done, Volunteers will be welcome. Right now we're taking in ideas and sugestions.

I've wanted to help make stuff for a while now too. I can get the tools to build things and all, but I have no idea of how to start from scratch to finish. Is there anyway someone can make a youtube video about how to make something for the Pokemon Project? Like how to make a simple route or small town. I know I can make something if I knew how that I can send to the Pokemon Project, example: making Verdanturf Town from Hoenn.
I'm sure more people will be willing to work on mapping if they knew how.

Their is no map building for extra routes as of now because the project's main focus is the Texturepack, Music, and story. Texture Pack is already being worked on thanks to Teamwork, The Music pack I am putting together myself (Made by Fans for Fans), and the story needs a few people to work on it, though. All the region maps are being made by separate projects right now.

Hoenn is also already being worked on. So, this would be kind of simple. I am having a semi tough time getting interior design together. So, once I get this done, Hoenn won't take long at all.

I'm willing to lend a hand with story, I can throw some ideas to you as they come, and I can also proofread.

EDIT
A way to stop people bringing strong Pokemon to a new region just occurred to me, I'll send you a message

itll be better graphics as you go farther in the game
Actually, Teamwork (look above for link) is working on one Texture Pack for the game. The game, itself, would have memory issues if all the areas had its original Texture. However their will be one region with a completely different Texture. I think everyone will be pleased with the art. :D

So, I made some big progress on the story. I got it done to Celadon City. Their will be more added to the previous parts (The missions and Trainer Battles are put on a different text file.) The story shows some development, however I think how I'm going to develop the story is it will branch off to other region as well as staying in Kanto so you will have multiple paths to choose from. Leaving a even bigger game ;). Major spoiler below.
