Maybe a challenge mode, or something similar. Like certain enemies being faster or having more defense than usual, rewards could be increased due to the difficulty increase. I support the idea itself, although I would never actually play in such a mode, but that is just me.

I've always been a fan Gyarados in gen 1. Also I like Celebi, because if I remember correctly, in the original Gold/Silver the PokeDex mentioned something about time-travel, lol. Also, Lucario always seemed cool to me.
