In the Roaming folder, if there are folders for Kolben Games or P3D Team, delete them.

AppData is a hidden folder in the user directory, you need to turn on hidden folders through a windows setting. ...I assume you're using Windows right? Windows 10?

Aside from direct downloads, there could be things in the Roaming folder under Kolben Games and P3D Team. Language as in display (English, Spanish, etc.), there are a few languages with unsupported characters that cause a crash (most notably Turkish).

When you went to get Release.zip again, did you make sure to remove all of the other P3D content on your machine? There could be an overlap. Additionally, what is your computer's system language?

Double-check the software requirements, that's the only way I could see this happening, even if you were able to play before.

Try downloading Release.zip again, but ensure no third party programs are interfering with it (like an antivirus), it's possible that some files were corrupted.

What's the last version number of the game you were able to play?

That usually means you don't have the game's software requirements installed. OpenAL and .NET Framework are needed for the game to work. OpenAL: https://www.openal.org/downloads/oalinst.zip. .NET Framework: https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/thank-you/net471?survey=false.

There's a new button at the top of this site called "Download Game". It should take you to the GitHub release page. Just go to [0.54.2] and try Release.zip.

Launcher doesn't work right now, use a standalone version of the game instead. You can find it from the GameJolt or GitHub page.

I can't provide a date at this time. For now you should use the official server.

The server software is still being tested, and is not stable enough for a public release yet.

Interesting. Everyone who forgot to install OpenAL so far couldn't even open the game, but you somehow got past that. Either way, nice to know it's working again, thanks for letting us know!

Hmm, this is a new one. I'd try deleting everything and redownloading the game again; it's entirely possible some files got messed up. Also are you using any ContentPacks? Right now they don't work without workarounds.
