care to link some, mate? if you got a gold/silver version for GBC translated to spanish i will try playing through a bit to fix up the translation later if no one does a proper one. i got a lot of things on my plate though so don't expect this to happen in a couple of days. It may be a week or so before I have the game localized in english, let alone spanish, german, french or whatever else people need. i'm only 1 man

Latin American does not,,, this name is Castilian in spain speak castilian ,Latin America do not like anything

sorry, but i am having trouble understanding what your point is here. castilian = spanish, yeah? are you saying there were official spanish translations released in spain but not in spanish speaking countries in latin america? i only posted that because i wanted to ask you if there were translations done. i figured you all couldn't all have been playing it in english.

and yes, once this localization system is in place it'll be simple to fix errors, for anyone inclined to do that. no one is obliged to but it would certainly help. nilllzz is german and i am australian so we know 2 languages between us, we're not going to do a very good job translating on our own

currently what i have planned is this
maps and scripts etc will use tokens where possible, which the game will look for in /pokemon/localization/tokens_en like so

once this is done we make a Tokens_es Tokens_it Tokens_ru, whatever you want. you would go through translating what we have put there in english or transcribing the already translated lines from a translated version of gold/silver

all npc dialogue etc will be here as well as some special ones for localizing menus
