i've made a token localization system today, i haven't set up all the strings that need to be localized, though. when thats done anyone that wants to do that is going to be able to make translations without having to change map and script files

i know, i just looked up if gamefreak localized the games to spanish and only red and blue ever were. oh well. i may end up doing the babelfish thing like you suggested. just to give people SOMETHING. as long as you're ok with horrible grammar until someone does a proper job lol.

you aren't the first one to ask for spanish, though. are there really no spanish translations for the pokemon games? not even fan made rom hacks?

care to link some, mate? if you got a gold/silver version for GBC translated to spanish i will try playing through a bit to fix up the translation later if no one does a proper one. i got a lot of things on my plate though so don't expect this to happen in a couple of days. It may be a week or so before I have the game localized in english, let alone spanish, german, french or whatever else people need. i'm only 1 man
