Fixed [0.20] Game Crashes When Picking First Pokemon

Works perfectly in 0.19_01

Edit: Updated to 0.20 and it crashed again...

probably rules out bad files, maybe a witchdoctor put a curse on your computer? make any gypsys upset lately?

on a more serious note this is probably a rare bug caused by some change nilllzz made to that between 0.19_1 and 0.20. he's not online right now (skype says its 4 in the morning where he is) so we won't get an immediate response on this, but something can probably be done. might require a 0.20_1 patch. again, im sorry we can't resolve this right now, but the bugs been noted. thanks for bringing it to our attention and helping us isolate the cause to something reasonable

I have got the same problem right now, also, I did program some software with C#, so i have it. I have some XNA dll but i will try to install XNA game studio

As we have said before this is a problem with v0.20 if u want to play the game and wait for it to be patched your better off downgrading it to v0.19_1

might be unrelated, but people are reporting wrong sprites for pokemon when battle animations are off, battle animations are also a new feature of 0.20, so try setting battle animations. long shot but i'd be really interested if it works

Hey guys, can you try to use the file I attached to this post?
Just go to your Pokémon folder and replace the "Pokemon.exe" with the file in the archive and start the launcher.

I have the same problem and it the new pokemon.exe file doesn't fix the problem

If there's an error it spits out an error message.
Can you please crash the game again and make a screen of that message?
