Not just Japan. Pokemon X and Y will be released in Japan, the Americas, Europe and Australia at the same time.

I've already decided which starter I want, Fennekin.
I also will probably get Pokemon X, should be the one with the blue legendary.

Also we have had a lot of Frog Pokemon: Poliwag + Evo Gen 1, Politoed Gen 2, Croagunk + Evo Gen 4, Tympole + Evo Gen 5

Also here are some interesting stats:

i will probably get both and probably get the fire and water starters in each one(maybe i will color match them: x=water, y=fire) though that depends on the legendaries and if i want to use them in my play through.....

I think the flying Legendary is in Pokemon Y cause it forms a Y with its wings. But I like the Deer or whatever it is more. Abd from the starters I like Fenekin the most.

I really wish that the game was for the DS and not just the 3DS. Judging from the video, it looks like that the game is no longer based on the grid system that it has been based on in the past and that the camera is going to be in a slightly different perspective than in the games previous to this one. Also, it bulbapedia is correct, it has cooperative play.
