Their has been a lot of confusion between what Professor Oak's Grandson's real name is in the video game. Let me clear it up. It's Blue. Okay? BLUE! NOT GREEN! and yes it's also Blue in the Manga.
Originally, the confusion started when during a battle in the stadium, it said on the score board it was Red vs Green when actually it was Red vs Blue. The writers came out and said that was a mistake. However, clearly people didn't get the message.
Also, in the first generation, Blue said that he was going to borrow a map from his sister and tell her not to give Red one. Oh, oops... Did I miss that 3 years later they actually named the place Blue's house? And it's strange that the Gym leader in the Gen II/IV/ V games Pokemon Trainer Blue looks extremely like "Green". So, what did we learn today Boys and Girls?
