Sup',
I, together with a friend, have translated most of the game to Swedish. Right now it's being polished before any release. Though I've fixed many things for myself, I can not seem to understand why this is happening.

http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/9646/20130203005918.png[/spoiler]

And the text in the tokens_sv.dat is like this.
Blackout Screen:
black_out_screen_line1,Du har slut på Pokémon!
black_out_screen_line2,Du kommer bli förd
black_out_screen_line3,till det närmaste PokéCentret
black_out_screen_line4,för att förhindra ytterligare skada
black_out_screen_line5,på dina Pokémon.

Well, if you didn't figure it out. This happens when you blackout, aka, run out of pokemon to battle with.

More over this question I have another one to anyone who can solve it.
Where is the files for items and battles. To being able to translate EVERYTHING into swedish, as planned I need to find some files that just ain't there.

I figured that these files are extremly hidden due to the easy change of gameplay you would be able to do. But is it something I can do to being able to translate things like ingame battle notifications and the names of items and their description.

Thanks in advance,
Suberiji

thats a bug and not a problem with your tokens. its using line 4 twice in all languages. i will tell nils. thank you for bringing it to my attention

also the tokens for the maps arent in the tokens files atm because we havent localized maps. you can't translate them without making changes to the map. this system was made to make that easier but we've had no time to finish the job. we'll get around to it. for now at least you can translate strings that you never ever would have had access to otherwise. i figure with menus and so on localized people can at least bumble through it having no idea what anyones saying if interface is in their language.

also, thanks for working on this at all, i'm so glad we have people that want to do this stuff so we can offer the game in more langauges. if you could send it to our github repo for langauges as a pull request that'd be awesome. if you cant figure it out pm me the file and i'll add it so we can distribute it in the future

I would like to say thanks for starters. Second I wanted to inform that we have translated the files which aren't just only in the tokens. So, we have translated stringpieces in .dat/.trainer files in all the maps and scripts folder.

This means you would have to overwrite the existing files in those folders, but as a help there would be included a backup folder into a .rar. This helps people who forget to backup files or simply don't know how. We are aware that if any changes are made in upcoming updates to these files, we would also have to update these in order to keep the bugs out of the game.

I also want to add that right now the strings are being fine tuned to fit the Swedish language better, like line breaking too early/late but I do expect to send the files to you within one or two days. However I think I'll wait until the update comes out in order to check in the files where I should update the updates.
Which also leads me to another question, would it be plausible to write a more detailed changelog for upcoming updates (hoping I'm asking the right person :p) ?
It would also help to fill in the wiki when new moves arrive, etc.

Thanks and keep me informed please,
Suberiji

i dont write the patch notes. atm daniel writes news posts based on what nils tells him.

also, keep hold of all your strings in 1 big text file later to add to tokens for when we tokenize the maps :) hopefully you won't have to do all the map and script editing anymore

In that case, will the tokens be added in this upcoming patch or will it be in a later one?
at some point we'll say if we've tokenized the maps, when theyre done the english tokens file will be updated with the tokens, and translators can work from there. if you keep your translated strings handy you'll be able to mostly just copy and paste, lol.

basically anywhere there was : @Text: in the scripts instead of the actual line it will just be a token

like in a trainer file you'll see like
<trainer_30001_intro>
<trainer_30001_outro>
<trainer_30001_defeated>

and in tokens there'd be

trainer_30001_intro,ok lets do this my rtatta is top percentage!
trainer_30001_outro,but it was top percentage...
trainer_30001_defeated,but it was top percentage...

the first map string is the sign outside the player's house :> nils was going to do the rest, i dont know if he's worked on it yet

Really great information, thanks. I also know how I should divide the strings in order to remember them as well.

Thank you for all the help I've got,
