Let us fish using a fishing rod when surfing.

Instead of the traditional fishing method where a player have to stand on a hot sun, open his bag and setup his fishing equipment and takes seconds to fish

Why not let it fish when it is standing on a water pokemon who surf and it is much comfortable with the sea breeze and large species are on the sea then the sea shore?

There isn't a international police there anyway. The rod don't break while surfing isn't it? There are no rocks blocking the rod below it. We want to fish some fish for dinner but just can't do it. ( Hungry to death )

The main point is to let us use fishing rod in the sea when surfing.

It might not be implemented because Generation I and Generation II did not allow of it, but I would also like to see it implemented.

I hope it is implemented somehow. Or even give it as a gamemode rule so that Hoenn region won't be so bored as there are places where you can catch pokemon using rod but the game just can't do it.
