What the what?
Randomly throughout the Poke world you can find random NPC sprites under the map, check the corners of any building with characters that appear for alittle but change later on, chances are you'll find a sprite of them.

That Joy NPC represents the pokemon that is in the daycare, when you put a pokemon in the daycare, the sprite of nurse joy gets teleported up the surface and its sprite gets changed to the sprite of the pokemon you put inside the daycare.

Ah that explains things, and I figured somewhat seeing as she's right under where the second Poke would go.

Also, I'm your 600th Like :p

Hey, just a random question here
why didnt they use a empty sprite? I mean, a sprite with nothing in it, just a transparent image
that is way more simple...

This is my guess, but I think a visible sprite is easier to work with, besides, the NPC is always hidden beneath the surface.

Another thing, if you go into the Mahogany Town Radio Station (the rocket base) before it switches to the old lady, if you look in the back left corner of the house under the map you can find her :>

Well...here's a better one, if you go to the trainers club where you battle Cal and go to the corner, you will see about 10+ people beneath the surface.

Good, good. Just how I like it. It would be better if all their sprites were changed to Diglett for the time being.
