Terrible Lag

yeah,. but thats it. but anyway i noticed on the future updates in the wiki that ALOT of Memory Usage whould be reduced. so basically able to run like how it was on Version [0.21] so hopefully for low res PCs as my own will be able to run it.

For sure. I didn't join until 0.22 so I don't know what it was like. I really hope that the future memory usage reduction helps people such as yourself and others play without as many FPS drops from the render distance.

I can say this game has almost already made my interest when I played Silver come back completely. One day while leveling a 70 something Pichu.. I save / exited, turned off. Next time I turned it on? Welcome! To the world of Pokemon!~

I can't imagine the sheer awesomeness of Pkmn3D once it's completely done.. all regions.. all moves.. all pokemon.. fully rendered in 3d with free movement (or at least 8 directional).. And in a minecraft-adapted world no less. This is true nostalgia. I can really feel those who can't play because of the lag problems or other issues. I've been there. Sucks.

Well I started around 0.17, and since there was almost nothing, there was no lag, I only get lag when my computer decides it wants to be slow and derp out.

i started on Version 0.19 but on a day after it went 0.20
but its getting good!
and im doing my part tio spread the content of it too by adding my Story Mod in it~
Im currently updating the newer version until i can update it to version [0.23]

Before the 0.20 updates, they all came out pretty quick, but now since their setting the bar higher for what they put in the updates, it's become a lot longer in between updates, there are ones like 0.22.1, but there mostly bug fixes, a few extras to maps like NPC's and stuff.

but you have to remember that they have thier own lives. like School, Family(or family of thier own), and such. plus implementing alot of neat features like the Pokegear are hard to do. which involves alot of coding.
so i can see why it wiould take long now.
but thats what the community comes in. we have a choice to help out in anyway we can.
like what im doing.
im promoting Poke3D with my Story Mod and helping the Hoenn Project. that alone would help the Devs by along feat. you should consider in helping out in anyway you can.

It would be good to see a Pokegear added in, and I know how much programming it would take, I tried it once, I didn't find it all that difficult, but at the time I was only 12 or so, but now that I'm 16, I understand it better now.

Honestly, I think the Hoenn region would be good, but the Kanto would be better because it connects to Johto. I have never seen a map of all regions connected, it would be good, but all I know is that Johto and Kanto are connected.

Fun Fact: the Devs ARE going to connect all the regions.
lets say for example. your in Johto correct? and you want to go to Hoenn, theres a Ferry where Jasmine's Gym is. (i forgot the port city name)
from there its required to have at least 5 Badges of anykind. and you can go to Slateport as your starting area.
which would be the same as everything else. but however if you think about it. look at this map below....

Currently you can go to Hoenn from there. which also the Orange Islands is also in progress, which me, Darkfire, and Prince Vade are working on.
i brought out this map as an example on how the Ferry Routes can connect to each of the Regions

which would also mean that if the game is based off of this map, then in order to go to Sinnoh you need to head north and come up with a new Region but with mixed Pokemon. get me?

I've always wanted a game where you can connect regions, but understood nintendo didn't do it due to size limits...
It's going to be so fun pounding the NPC bad guys when I'm champ of 3-4 regions
Wonder how it'd end up being scaled, though...would you be forced to leave all your pokemon from a region with the local professor except one, like in the anime?
