Confirmed [Indev 0.53] Counter does not Counter

What I expected to happen:
well, a pokemon to counter another pokemon's attacks

What actually happened:
Counter happens, but just wont damage the attacker
Steps to reproduce:
1. should not take a rocket scientist

I expected that attack counter works. (2x opponent's attack)

What actually happened:
The screen goes to the opponent and nothing happens.

1. Have a Pokémon with attack "Counter".
2. Use "Counter"

I tried to counter a Ice Punch... It's a physical attack.

I can confirm this bug, but I was not the one using the move, it was an NPC opponent.

With the...erm...provided steps to repro, I can confirm that the move does nothing, does not counter physical nor special attacks, it does not even say that it fails.
confirmed for 0.53
