What I expected to happen:
i expected it to open my file nd i could play on it

What actually happened:
... it crshed nd deleted everything i had

What do you mean by it crashes and delete everything? Huh?

Post a crash log and if you just started playing and the game crashed, the game probably didn't save, it only saves via the options menu or when you go back to the main menu (for offline save)
