since my PC is crap running on 1g of RAM, earlier versions of Poke3D worked fine. however, now wtht the new Offset which i love very much, the Offset doesnot show. not only that but even when i do turn it off. it becomes so laggy that it becomes unplayable.

isnt there a way to take off the offset without causing an uproar with lag?
like in the previous versions.

(its very hard to work with on 1yl updates)

Did you try to turn the offset map loading completely off and then save and restart the game?
Because the game saves loaded offset maps into a buffer so it can load them faster if used again.

yeah, i did it twice now.
it still becomes unplayable when completely turned off and after restarting the game.

then it's not caused by the offset map loading.
Because they don't get loaded and don't receive entity updates when completely turned off (value = 0)

all i can tell right now it this..
if the Offset is present in a map, whether it to be on or off.
the Offset will always be present, therefore in my theory. Offset isnt entirly off. because if it is off, then the lag wiould not appear as is, like in the earlier Versions of Poke3D.

i know you have alot on your plate as is. but as it stands now is the offset for crappy computers such as my self *reaching for low res and high res*

U can try and edit the maps and remove the new line that are added to maps that have a offset.
Code:
{"OffsetMap"{MAP[{"Offset"{intArr[40,2]}}{"Map"{str[route33.dat]}}]}}
See if that fixes your problem.
If not it is as nilllzz said something else that is causing the issue.

nope. i guess i'll find some way to get a better computer. i mean i dunno, the game ran very smooth for 1g of RAM in version [0.21] and [0.21.1]
and now it feels like version [0.20]
i dunno :'/

so when you removed the offset lines from the map performance was still bad?

yes. the performance was still bad even when i turn them off manually in the game and restart. or delete them from lets say both connecting New Bark and Route 29 in the *map* file

i really dont know what it is. but it feels like earliy [0.20].
the game went fantastic around [0.21] and [0.21.1~2]

i dunno. i guess its because of my 1G of Ram that cant take more then 50% of Goldenrod (which has ALOT of buildings and structures)

oh wow, yeah, you gotta change that

whats the rest of your hardware like? actually, more specifically, what sort of ram does your computer even use?

I have the same issues, ok not exactly the same, but everything works fine when im inside buildings, but as soon as I'm outside movement is very laggy. In battle everything works just fine. so it's just on the maps, i guess you could call them. everything worked fine until i downloaded .21 after that is when i faced lag.
