A couple of newbie questions

Hi everyone,

I've been checking out this game every now and then to see how it's standing, and now I've decided to start playing! However, I do have some questions...

1. The combat system in the game. Is it based on generation 4 and later or generation 1/2/3? i.e. ice punch being a special move (sp.attack since ice is a special type) or a physical move (based on attack power)?

2. Do Pokemon get EV points in this game?

3. I created an account on the gamejolt website, but can't get online when I click on the gamejolt button. Is this because there's an update coming up soon? Or am I doing something wrong?

4. If I play offline, can I use the same account online later on when I find a way to get online with gamejolt?

5. Is there a place where I can see which moves each pokemon can learn?

1. More inclined towards Generation IV and later.
2. Yes.
3. Does it just say "Please Wait..."? Probably just a poor Internet connection.
4. No, you have to start over. This helps against possible cheating.
5. You can look at our wiki for such information.

Thanks. That worked. I guess it's not possible to play on this server at the moment? If I play local, can I get on the official server later on with the same game account?
