The hardest League

I think that the 1st gen was the hardest by far.

Hoenn.... Wallace is hard for me cause my only pokemon were Heracross And Swampert

Gen 2, All I had was an L83 Poliwrath, but I couldn't beat them, eventually I cloned Raikou and the Poliwrath to beat them...:/ then I played again a while ago, and took them on with a L55 Arcanine and a L55 Dugong...

Lance's Dragons could really punish you

Easiest..would most likely be Gen 4 imo

If my memories are correct, I found Gen 3's Hoene league pretty hard (the dragon and ice guy = tough. Not to mention the Iron Wall Steven...). I also found the marathon of trainers in Colosseum's final fights annoyingly difficult, but that might've been due to underleveling myself (haven't played it in years).

that was pretty hard but i think it was worst because i was trying to catch each pokemon :/(also i just hated umbreon in that game it was my highest level but did almost nothing :/)

I found them all pretty easy, but by the league I had multiple level 80s. It would still probably be gen 1, but I don't really remember.

Hardest league to me is, gen 4, because cynthia is annoying to me, but gen 5 league is, heh no problem, because i don't have any problem to defeat gen 5 elite four.

Gen 1 - by far - you don't have as many legendary pokemon as today (gen2 with ho-oh/lugia or 3 with groudon/kyogre were pretty easy) fire-red/leaf-green were hard, too, but not as hard as gen1 (I played Yellow)
I think the gen1 was harder because in fire-red/leaf-green one could reset trainers and fight tem again - in gen1 you had to train your team with wild pokemon - that was painful...

I think Gen I will always win this, or at least, the first league we fought, because it was new to us. I remember my Dad got crushed by the Hoenn League the first time around, and I had no issues with it, because I had most of the ins-and-outs of it, and he didn't yet.

I would say Gen 3 because its the only one I ever had problems with. I would say Gen 1 ,but it wasnt really the Elite 4 being powerful it was rather the difficulty of training pokemon ...Im so glad they fixed this in FR&LG
