Hey for thoughs of you who remember me I'm back and happy to be back in this awesome game. ive been gone for a long time so can anyone give me tips on the old stuff that might have changed like eggs, breading, and locations?

Welcome back, mate

So, I'm not sure about the state of the game when you left it, but as for location, it now includes all of johto (except MtSilver) and almost 65-75% of kanto ( 13 badge in total ) and 1.5 sevii islands.
As for breeding, Again not sure how it was before, but I think it is the same as it was in gen 2, (shiny/IVs/egg moves)-wise.
