You don't need any special programs to make music packs, but if you need editing, Audacity is a good one to have.
Once you got the music you want, re-name them into the music files that exist in the song folder to make it play there. (make them mp3 files)
After that, put the files into a folder names Songs and put THAT folder into another folder to name your music pack into that folder's name.
When that is done, move that folder to the content packs in the pokemon folder & you are good to go.

I'm afraid not, as we don't have default music in the first place to occupy that position.Thanks! I started on it already
Seems that .mp3 works too, so I don't need the .xnb files.
Edit : Is it possible to make another song come out just for the last Pokemon of a Gym Leader?
