Yep, because I admit that I am wrong but I am also right.
That's what "I stand corrected" means.

Also, It's not a personal choice, each one of them has its own use. the use of a decimal point Potato in this case is wrong Correct.

No, it differs per country.
In my country, we use a mere space to indicate it being a thousand, some use a dot, some use a comma.

It's either a space Potato or a comma Potato, not a decimal point Tomato (It's called a decimal point Potato for a reason)
