Catching Mew Idea.

Even tho we are far from the second region, i thought that the way you catch Mew should be the same as Pokemon R/B, i loved it when i learned that glitch/secret, and i think it should remain that way in this game.
For those who don't know, in Pokemon B/R you make sure you have a Pokémon that knows Fly. On Route 8, stand in front of the door of the Underground Path.Walk down one step and immediately press Start. If you succeed, the menu will pop up before the Gambler "sees" you. Go to the Pokémon list and fly to Cerulean City.
The gambler will see you just before you fly away.
Your Start button will no longer function. Go north across Nugget Bridge and head east until you find the youngster trainer.
If you walk right up to the Youngster, the game will lock up, so you'll have to let him see you and walk up to you. Defeat his Slowpoke (afterwards, your Start button will work again), then fly to Lavender Town.
Head west from Lavender Town, The start menu pops up, and BAM! Mew attacks!

I find this interesting because Mew was not in the original story line of the game, but in this Mod, "Legendary encounters" could happen for either battling or just to show the kick ass magic magic of what Legendaries can do. Like a hidden spot in Ilex forest where we can witness Celebi, or another secret spot in another city where we see Jurachi pass by circling above rooftops in an event where the people are outside talking about Jurachi.

I might have gone off topic, but Legendaries + Pokemon Snap Perspective = A kick ass time.

i think the whole wifi event system is mad stupid personally, and want there to be legit ways to get all sorts of legendaries like celebi and mew. no plans on that stuff yet, let's get the story all the way to the elite 4 first

I completely agree. Like I've said before "Catch 'Em All" should mean that you can CATCH THEM ALL. All encounters should be built-in and legitimate. And, yes... let it come in due time.

I disagree having "glitches" to catch ANY of the legendaries would be bleh ... Besides in keeping with the Epicness Cornflake mentioned nillz and the others working on this awesome project have a rare oppurtunity to balance making the game their own yet being for the fans by the fans.

As such it'd be better and potentially worth the hassle on their part to work in custom storyline content differing from the games wherein Mew Celebi and any other "special legendaries" they might add depending on how ffar they go with this project.

Heck I may be rambling off topic ( apologies to ALL in advanced for walls O Text & long rambling ) but if there is hopefully foresight to continue into further Generations or what not perhaps this could essentially evolve into a pantheon of Pokemon spanning ALL Games, generations, regions etc merely by building off the framework of this game eventually transitioning to where say every 1.20 ( Assuming Versions continue to 0.99 then 1.0 1.01 etc ) then 2.40 be a major expansion rather than a mere update ( Heck Id wait 6 months between updates if need be just for the game to get even more epic )

Uh thanks ... And yeah I was thinging 1 of the freshness factor & 2 of this game being a welcome change to many fans. Heck even if this is still ongoing when X And Y are out I'd still picture myself being addicted. Not only is having any kind of Pokemon game made even semi 3D interesting but already the twists and meshing of G, S, C, HG and SS have kind of made this refreshing in it's own ways. Kudos for the 100th time to those involved in working on this

Agreed the sucky part about Legendaries via WiFi events is the limited distribution times, cooky scheduling of it and the hassle at times of getting "a successful compatible WiFi Port" can be a pain in the arse -_-

After you collect the 8 badges, you take the DNA item to the Cinnabar Island Pokemon Center and Blue will give you access to the Pokemon Center's Time Machine (The Time Machine Idea came from the original G/S/C). The Time Machine will take you to Cinnabar Island 7 years ago. A young red headed girl will come to you and ask you for help as there is a distressed Mew at the Pokemon Mansion. At the Mansion, there is 2 other people (Silver and Giovanni(Silver's Father)). The Distressed Mew gives birth to Mewtwo, which the boy's father, Leader Giovanni, says that he will take care of Mewtwo due to him being so powerful (Which he fills his heart full of hate and later escapes). Knowing that Mew is being separated from Mewtwo, the lvl 50 Mew attacks. After the battle it is explained that Mew needs a loving trainer to keep it happy and play with it (Or that Mew has probably returned to his home island far away from Kanto or Johto if you faint him. (Faraway Island... get it?). Anyway If you captured the Mew, it will return you to your time. If you fainted the Mew, you walk outside and you will see it, but it will return you to your time.

This makes since with the time line (Due to Generation I explaining that a mew lived there and gave birth to Mewtwo.)

But it wouldnt really be canon with the timeline because mew never really gave birth to mewtwo its the fact that the cinnabar island researchers found and used mew's DNA to give birth to mewtwo. And that Blaine was the head scientist who created Mewtwo.
