It helps to recover your save in case you encounter a bad crash.

The actual backup save? I don't think so. I believe the staff takes that code and uses it to grab your save.

This is my last save before I left the game, and is the one I would like as my current save. Tried and tried to get it to save, but could not get it to work. Hope you gents can help me get this resolved.

Any idea how long it'll be before I can play with that save? Is there anything I can change locally to fix it not saving, or is that something that you guys have to change server side? Excited to play and all, but if I have to do this every time I log out it really doesn't seem to be worth it.

that's why it's best to use an online account

I use an account on that "GameJolt" thing in order to play on the "Official KARP Server", but it still sends me here when it doesn't save.

That's what saving manually is. Then what are you doing when it "doesn't save"?

No, it says "Save failed" and then tells me to press the confirm button if I want to see my backup saves as well as redirecting me here. I'm using the in game menu, confirming save game, then "Save failed".

Ok, I have never seen your issue before, probably a new "feature" to the game, can you take screenshots?
