Well...it was supposed to be last September.
Interpret that as you wish
The reason why we weren't capable of setting up the store is because we have yet to find out a proper way to do this.
Do we link forum accounts with in-game accounts and let them spend forum P through a shop in-game?
Do we set up a store on the forums and have a moderator or moderators send the item everytime a purchase is made?
Do we force nils to make another .exe which is dedicated to the store and allows you to log in with your GJ account and when you make a purchase it gets saved onto your save?
I don't know, we don't know.

I think the moderator idea is the best just cause it would be easier to manage. the moderator(s) would just have to send Items random pokemon through the gts.

The problem with that is that it's quite an annoying task for the person in charge. People all over the world play this game and could purchase something at an annoying time for the moderator.
Which means the buyer will have to wait until the moderator has time to send the items while the buyer might need/want the item right now.
Why not get multiple moderators from different time zones? This sounds like too much of a hassle to keep track of.

Oh true that... but it would be easier than trying to program in a link between GameJolt accounts and the Forum accounts. On the note of multiple moderators have one for different time zones there roughly 24 time zones in the world why not have 6 moderators covering every 4 hours. For example
-11|-10|
^moderator A^^moderator B^^moderator C^^moderator D^^moderator E^^Moderator F^
-11 to -7 -7 to -3 -3 to +1 +1 to +5 +5 to +10 +10 to -11

This way there could be 6 moderators covering 4-5 hours each there should always be someone online and if your in western canada at 6pm and the moderator is offline and in bed in say london there would be a moderator covering half of north america that would be only a few hours ahead or behind you

That could work, I guess.
Alright, let me think of the things required to make this happen.
6 trustworthy people.
6 People with different timezones.
6 People that we have known for a while.
6 People that we know can deal with mod/dev only exclusive content.
A proper way of keeping track of the actions of these 6 people.
Do these people want to be dedicated to doing this for an extended period of time?
Do these people want to do this work in their free time and receive nothing in return?

This is a lot harder to properly manage than it sounds.

Versus the great system we have now.

2 active half dead moderators and 2 semi-active devs.

2 from the US.
1 from Norway.
1 from German.

Holy words.

Hold interviews for moderators IDK geez. I worked it out so 6 would be the maximum amount of moderators. If need be I could work as a moderator to sell items.
I am trustworthy so I wont rip people off I could be reported if I did, I live in B.C. Canada so I could cover -11 to -6, I may have only been playing since April but I would definitely dedicate my time and effort to this amazing game, I dont know much about dealing with mod/dev content but Im willing to learn, A good way to monitor would be access them low privileges and have the community report them if they fail to abide by the rules set for the shop keepers, I would be dedicated for longer than just an extended period of time and I could do this in my free time because I have a lot of it right now as I dont have a job yet. Plus I dont expect everyone to do this for free but at least let shop keepers get a rare pokemon (Other than legendaries) every month/couple of weeks.

1) Choosing Moderators isnt a simple process.
2) 6 is definitely abit much.
3) The tools needed to do this are not something we like to share with anyone but the people we trust the very most(we are even reluctant sometimes to give it to the current moderators).
4) Trying to become a moderator directly is one of the worst ways to become one - suggesting your self as a mod in anything but a pure joke is an easy way to get your self moved down the list.
5) I have a handful of people in mind but I doubt they would be willing to give the time to maintain the shop.

1) I didnt think it was such a simple process thats why I said host interviews
2) I suggested 6 as a maximum amount of admins to cover the globe
3) Understandable
4) I wasn't trying to get moved down the list I thought there are different kinds of mods that cover different things I thought you could make moderators that just have access to the shop. I was just saying I would dedicate my time to become one but nevermind then...
5) If you change your mind and I prove myself, let me know.

1) I'm pretty sure he also means the interviews by that (Tbh, interviews are even harder!)
2) 6 new moderators is much, but for the task you want, I don't think 10 would even be enough (so in total that would be 15 moderators moderating a simple (not really that big) forum)
3) I'm not einstein when it comes to forums, but I'm like 97.2% sure that you can't make new moderators that have only the power you request and nothing else (Don't quote me on that, that's why I didn't put 100%)
4) Giving too many people too much power is never a good thing. I don't even need to explain that (Do I?), Don't expect any additions to the list of moderators any time soon. (That's Just my opinion tho)
5) No comments there.

1) We shouldn't worry about this until we're about to have a store.
2) ????
3) Profit.
