Not a bug Random NPC appearing

I was trying to beat the Elite 4, suddely this happens.

I expected to beat will, and i did.

Suddenly a character that looks like bill appears.
He DOES walk around, but i can walk through him, and he has no dialog. Trying to talk with him simply doesn't show a text box.
(this happened in version 0.49)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Beat Elite 4 Will
2. He spawned next to him.
Someone told me to make a screenshot of it, so i did.

It probably is yeah... That is a skin that is only used for online players, so very likely this is the case. On what server are you playing?

No, because a name should appear above his head if it was another player

It happens where names does not show, it's probably server lag, happens all the time
and it's the mighty Karp server btw

Or you probably disabled them by pressing F1. But it's not an NPC that shouldn't be there, this is another player in the Elite 4 as well.

It happens all the time when the server gets laggy, sometimes names don't show, sometimes the pokemon behind them don't show, other times their sprite don't show as well

i'm currently playing on the Official Pokemon3D server. i already left the room with that guy inside.
oh and btw, if it was a player, he would have had a pokemon walking behind him, wouldn't he?

As fantasticx already stated it's caused due to lags.

I can't seem to find you on the server... But yeah, that person was either another player in the Elite 4 as well or it was a slight server miscommunication bug that let this player appear there. But it's not an actual NPC, that's why you couldn't interact with it.

Yeah, i was kicked due to inactivity and continued learning for my exams. Anyway, thanks for explaining. You can delete the thread if you want, or leave it here for other people with the same question.
