Pika would prefer A, because the smaller sprites look better in a world that is only so big, plus it would look weird if we had sprites that are taller than the headbutt bushes, and almost as tall as the 2 high trees.

But if you want, you can have either, it's your gamemode, and it's what makes you happy. There is a hierarchy (took Pika a bit to figure out the spelling of that word) to making a game look good. First, it has to appeal to the creator, if a game doesn't look good to the creator, then there is little chance it will go well out in the big world. Then after that comes the public.

But it's all up to you Shou, it's your project, and you make it to how you want.

Did you miss that picture?, compare it to bugsy who's not that tall anyways.

well the normal sprites dont fill the whole space normally
if you open a sprite file you can see space above their heads
also from the way it reads Shou plans to do this for ALL sprites so they will all appear "taller" compared to normal

Its what Darkfire says, If you can tell from the image example, the Customized sprites arnt bigger then the traditional sprites in scales. which was my main concern before testing. so a compromise had to be done. and so, when tested it. it looks appealing, and not too outrageously large either.

also speaking of which. being gone for two days without internet, I have gotten alot of work in. and guess what? I updated the story all the way to Ecroteak. so I decided to release the game once everything before and In Ecroteak Is done. so expect that in the future.

also, while considering the previous discussion regarding the detailed sprites and in favor of a second route. I decided to take the original playable female out of the game and reuse her for the story. Remember the Alexis getting a genderbend comment about having both Male and Female?
check this out!

Of course this is the placeholder just like all the other NPCs being customized.
but yeah, looks good :3

Also another question. The testers already are aware, but what do you guys think of the wild battle theme?

This theme sounds very catchy and sounds quite nice on just simple battles.
I mean... its better then the Johto Wild Battle Music. I mean... its nice that its nostalgic, but its gettings annoying and makes you just not want to continue battling.

so for Argument Sake, do you guys like it?
are you excited that 1YL3D is getting far in development?
I there anything else you guys would like to see?

To have Alexis both gender is good think.
That music is good.

hmm, the first one sounds more tribal then the second. and the second is a bit more darker but has a "never give up" feel to it in the theme. which is why im a bit falling for the 2nd one. of course the 2nd one is a bit loud, but i can edit that to level it up. but yeah i can keep both of them and use them on certain parts of the game.

That's umm...like..exactly what I wanted to say :p
but I still like the first more, we'll see once you edit the second one.

-Theme 1 is better for a regular boss.
-Theme 2 sounds darker, as stated previously, would work great as a serious/final boss theme in a Pokémon game.

Also, you composed these?

I do not own any of the music, all credit goes to the creators of the musics.

the Boss Theme 2 wont be a "Final Boss" theme. I have other uses for this theme. but I do like the 2nd theme. but i gave it some thought and would want to use it for a series of battles to come. but yeah thanks for the feedback.
