Ahhh, Surf. That hint says to much, so with that hint you will find headbutt trees in no time and that makes finding that places less fun and interesting.
You need a Pokemon that Knows the move "Surf" and another that knows the move "Headbutt", Go to the route before victory road (R26) and walk till you reach the water (between the Vroad gate and the house with the healer woman in it) you will see that the path in the water is blocked by boarders but you can move through one of them, now go left till you reach the trees and use headbutt on them.
The chance of getting it is 1% tho.

I thought wiki have information where to look for secret area, but not a way to it.

Hidden Trees
A hidden grove of trees located to the north-east of the small pond in the north part of the route. To reach the trees you must cross a fake border in the water. Contains Riolu and Ralts as well as a Dawn Stone Located on the ground near them.

Hidden Area
Located in the top right of the map and accessed from a hidden pathway on Route 30, it contains the only headbutt trees on the map.
