Server just does NOT want to port forward?

So, I've never had a problem with port forwarding before... until today.

I have done everything in order to make this server work to no avail.

I have set my IP to static through the recommended program, I've forwarded them correctly through my router's ip, and I have typed the External/public IP into the properties file as well.

I am completely frustrated and confused as to what I have done wrong...

Any help would be appreciated :bag:

It says the port is closed, but its open?

This is confusing... I've been at this for about an hour and a half. I've even checked my rudimentary firewall.
Post a screenshot of your forwarded port in the router?

Lets do a check,
1. Open cmd.exe and type ip config
Check that the ip given there is the same as what you have in the portforward setting.

2. Are you using direct connection to modem? ( Modem => computer )
* wifi from modem is also direct connection.

I ended up just becoming overly frustrated with this ridiculousness. I asked a friend of mine who works with this sort of stuff, and even he couldn't find what was the problem. I think its a sign that I should just give up while ahead.

It can have many reason... It took me about 1 hour to solve oxt portforward issue.
So I might have guess you can have the same problem too.

Try giving me your server public IP. I will do a simple test and I can try to use my server ip to redirect it over to see if it is just isp problem.
