A question about implementing new Pokemon in the game.

This is not a complaint about the game or the pace of adding new Pokemon.
I just want to know what is needed to add new Pokemon to the game.
I mean, if the overworld sprites (Evo and shiny) and the data file are provided for a specific Pokemon evo-line, Will they get implemented in the next version, or are there other things that prevents them from being implemented?

okay so that is sorta complicated to answer but here goes
a) we have all of the sprites and cries for gen 1-5 pokemon
b) we have access to the cries for gen 6 pokemon as we need them
c) people are making the gen 6 overworld sprites now and we have the menu sprites already
d) we have incomplete versions of all data files
e) lots of move stuff needs to be decided before we add all of the remaining pokemon
we are working on this but it is ALOT of work(for some details check my twitter account for a discussion I had with the guy who made Pokemon Brown\Prism) and I will likely soon be asking for more community help as we move into summer and people start getting out of school and stuff

so, if i understand this right, the first 649 sprites are all done and only incomplete data files, moves and some dev decisions..etc is what prevent them from being implemented?


also i'm not that good with twitter, can you lead me to that discussion? ( is it the one with koolboyman about TM's and moves? )

Anyways, if you need help, probably the only thing i can do is making the data files, lol

helping with data files will be what we need
we technically need to redo EVERY data file that exists so...
I will be making an announcement regarding this some time eventually
