How to battle Rockets at tollbooth?

I got the basement key, and tried to go to the basement (by namerater's house right?), but nothing happened, I figured I should battle the rockets at the toll booth first, but they just charge me and say thank you.

You need to enter a hidden path when you enter the underground. The wall's texture is a little different so search in there, you will eventually find it.
