Solved [Indev 0.47.2] Cannot Progress in Story

so assuming i'm going about this the right way: I go to the harbor in Vermillion and talk to the guy in front of the Sevii ferry to try to get to the islands
but when i talk to him i get the old script about the ferry being unavailable. is there something that needs to be 1st

There was a bug with the radio guy in the pewter museum in 0.46 that was fixed in 0.46.2 but you might need to speak with him again to activate the boat

Had the same problem and darkfire told me to do the same and it worked.

Can confirm that this happened to me as well. Just do what the others above me posted and that should resolve it.
